New to this? Start at the Start Here guide. For the full scheme, see The GCCF Stewarding Scheme.
This is the one place for every steward form. Download what you need, complete it at the show, and send it in.
The two documents to read first
- GCCF Stewarding Scheme — Rules and Procedure (this is Addendum 2 of the V10 Judge Training Programme — the definitive rules)
- The Role and Responsibilities of a GCCF Steward
A fifteen-minute read between them, and they’ll answer most questions before they come up.
Your training forms
| Form | When you use it |
|---|---|
| Stewarding Show Certificate | One per stewarding engagement (you need six). |
| Table Work Certificate | One per table-work session at an All Breed Championship Show (you need two). |
| Evidence of Veterinary Tuition | Once, after your half-day stewarding for the show vet. |
| Application to Progress to Fully Qualified | Once, when you’ve completed all of the above. |
Two rules that apply to every form
- Submit within 28 days of the show date. Late forms may not be counted.
- Email is fine. Send your completed forms — scans or clear photographs — to admin@gccftraining.org.
You may have seen older copies of these forms that ask you to post them with a stamped addressed envelope, or that give a personal postal address. That’s no longer the route — email to admin@gccftraining.org is the single place everything now goes. If you’ve downloaded an older form, just send it to that address regardless of what the footer says.
A couple of things to track as you go
- No more than two certificates from any one Judge count towards your six engagements.
- Up to two of your six can be HHP engagements.
- Aim for at least four different sections across your six.
Trouble downloading or opening a form?
Email admin@gccftraining.org and we’ll send it to you another way. (Steward forms are handled by the training team — not by the JPG secretaries, so admin@ is the right address for anything steward-related.)
